Maryland United FC is committed to a soccer environment where every player feels supported and every sideline reflects our values — respect, encouragement, and perspective. That's why we've partnered with Soccer Parenting to give every family free access to trusted education, and why we require ongoing training so this commitment stays active all season, every season.

At Maryland United FC, our mission goes beyond the scoreboard—we strive to create a positive, respectful, and fun environment for every player, coach, referee, and family. As part of this commitment, we’re requiring one representative from each family to complete a short online course offered through our partner, Soccer Parenting.
If you've already completed The Sideline Project, you'll now be asked to complete Winning on Gameday. Feel free to explore the other resources on the Soccer Parenting site as well—it's all free to you!

This membership is free because Maryland United FC values parents who are engaged with and educated about the soccer experiences of their child.

You'll have access to hundreds of articles, interviews, courses, all created specifically for youth soccer parents.

Required Training: Each year,  one household member completes a Soccer Parenting course.  The Sideline Project is the first course (15-minute course on sideline behavior).

If your family has completed the Sideline Project, you will be asked to move on to Winning on Gamedays.
