Maryland United dedicates time and effort to the development of all players, including goalkeepers.  The goal is to improve individuals in every aspect of themselves, creating an environment that is a positive influence on all player's development as a competitor and an elite level soccer player.

MD United hires goalkeeper coaches who have vast experience coaching collegiate and youth athletes. Their resumes are extensive, but their dedication to the players is what sets them apart.

The long term aim of Maryland United is to develop the complete goalkeeper and not just a shot stopper.  Specific goalkeeper training occurs once a week and follows a season long training plan.  Our GK coaches track player development and provide feedback from games, trainings and help with the recruiting process.
